Regulation for access the biological resources under the Botanical Garden Organization

    Thailand, the most diverse country in terms of natural resources has joined as Member States Parties to The Nagoya Protocol on Access and Benefit-sharing and set up the board of regulations for conservation and utilization of biodiversity and the procedures for access and obtaining biological resources since May 2011.
    So, the Botanical Garden Organization (BGO) also has a regulation and procedures for access and obtaining biological resources by non commercial use, accordingly to the regulations for conservation and utilization of biodiversity of Thailand. And the regulation has taken effect since 5 March 2011. To access biological resources under the Botanical Garden Organization, people must apply to BGO first. How to apply, please read click
